Wondrous Woods opens to the public!

New multipurpose gallery at the Road Dahl museum.

We worked with the Museum team to develop the concept and then - with Lee Simmons on graphic design and Pamela Glintenkamp on a 3D soundscape - we developed this immersive experience that recreates the local woods that inspired some of Roald Dahl’s books. Thank you to Bright Green UK, Leach, Unusual Projects, Black Box AV and Displayways for helping us to realise our vision.

Lyminge HLF project is all installed

This has been a joy for us to be involved in - having advised the team on funding strategies and the NLHF application, it was wonderful to then accompany them on the project’s journey and be a part of the transformation. New interpretive signage throughout the village, a great new object display in the church and a walking trail pamphlet to guide visitors to and around the area.

Over 1000 visitors to Magna Carta Rediscovered in its first weekend!

Magna Carta Rediscovered opened in Faversham on 23rd May.

The exhibition, centred around Faversham's own 1300 issue of Magna Carta, tells the story of Magna Carta and its legacy. Visitors have the opportunity to view the original manuscript, which is rarely on display, and delve deeper into its content via digital interactivity.

Jakaranda Tree developed the interpretative concepts, exhibition narrative and content. The exhibition was designed and built by ETT Solutions.

Lyminge exhibition opens in Maidstone Museum

Just in time to coincide with the summer excavation season, the Lyminge exhibition arrives in Maidstone Museum. On display are some of last season's most interesting finds, including a gaming piece from a board game similar to backgammon or draughts.

A summer of archaeological activity is planned both at the Museum and at the dig… see the Lyminge website for more information.

'And thereby hangs a tale' opens in Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Jakaranda Tree's exhibition,  'And thereby hangs a tale', begins its tour today. Produced for the Churches Conservation Trust, the exhibition is part of a larger HLF funded project to raise the profile of All Saints Church, Billesley, one of the redundant churches in their care.

The exhibition explores primary evidence, looking for clues as to where Shakespeare was married.

In addition to the exhibition, Jakaranda Tree are creating new interpretation boards at All Saints Church, an education pack to assist schools in visiting the church and a walking trail pamphlet exploring sites of interest in the area.
